Mixers & Faucets
The taps of pleasure boats must be able to cope with more severe conditions than those of normal domestic use.
From resistance to corrosion caused by the brackish atmosphere,
to the ability to overcome the mechanical stress caused by use on a moving medium and in conditions of precarious stability,
all contribute to making necessary a quality globally superior to that current.
Do not forget that the mounting system of some items,
such as built-in shower mixers, must be designed specifically for boat structures which,
lacking walls, require modifications to allow the fixing by bulkhead.
Another feature is the reversal (upward opening) of the lever movement of horizontal-axis mixers
to prevent unwanted openings caused by hull shocks.
This does not technically exclude the need for
modern and elegant lines and a wide range to meet the most different tastes,
such as that proposed by BARKA.
